What is a trashcan?

To a toddler,
it's just a shelf of his ugly toys.

To a pupil,
it's where he keeps his bad test papers.

To a teenager,
it's a basket case for the letters of an ex-lover.

To a writer,
it's a pile of rejected drafts.

But to a street child,
with a trashcan..




LIFE GOES ON.

In a Hospital

A mother and her daughter where in a hospital for the child’s monthly check-up. As the doctor examines the little girl..

Little Girl:
What’s that?

Doctor:
This is a stethoscope my child.

Little Girl:
What is that for?

Doctor:
It is used to hear what our hearts says.

Little Girl:
Can I try it?

Mother:
Baby, don’t bother your doctor, ok?

The mother and the doctor smiled at each other. Because the doctor was impressed on how curious the child was, he granted her wish.

Doctor:
Alright, I’ll let you hear what your heart says..

The doctor put the earpiece on the girl’s right ear and put the scope upon the girl’s left chest.

Little Girl:
Wow… Mommy, is that Jesus knocking?

In a Barber Shop

Barber:
God doesn't exist because if there is God, there will be no suffering.

His customer didn't reply to avoid arguments, then left the shop. Outside, he saw a beggar with long dirty hair. The man went back to the shop.

Man:
You know, barbers don't exist.

Barber:
Can't you see I'm a barber?

Man:
If barbers exist, there would be no man with long dirty hair.

Barber:
It's just that they don't come to me.

Man:
Same with God, if people will just come to Him, there will be no suffering.

Do we need to realize suffering first, before looking up to Him?
