What's the strangest New Year's greeting you've heard? Read? Received?

I describe 2008 as the year of EXTREMES for I have experienced some of the best and the worst days of my life during its span of three hundred and sixty-five days.

I fell out of love.
I(we) did the best thesis.
I explored a new world.
I graduated at PLM.
I went to the province for some vacation-turned-soul-searching.
I applied(to the nth power) for certain jobs.
I got hired.
I courted.
I resigned (err.. AWOL).
I applied again for jobs.
I got hired again.
I loved.
I was hurt and bitter.
I...

The worst: my mom had a mild stroke.
The best: my freedom.

My 2008 life was all about me - and I am thankful and proud of it. As 2009 touches my very skin, I plan to grow - maybe regrow a bit.

Thanks for the year that was!

Katrina Halili, last year's top-notcher, sits back at number two, while Transformers' leading lady Megan Fox occupies the third position. Angel Locsin, a strong contender for the top spot for years, falls down to number four. Diana Zubiri rounds this year's top five; Ehra Madrigal and Iwa Moto holds the sixth and seventh spot respectively.

FHM Philippines is currently having it's annual poll for the 100 Sexiest Women of 2008. The top spot is a battle between 3 of the most sought after Filipina actresses of today: Angel Locsin, Katrina Halili, and Marian Rivera.

Last year's winner, Katrina Halili, is again one of the bets for this year - but sources say that Angel Locsin, winner last 2006, leads the poll as of now. But the battle sizzles more as Marian Rivera breakthroughs at the third post. So, who shall it be this year?
