A little while ago, I was buzzed on YM by a high school friend. We started the chitchat with the regular hi’s, hello’s, and all sorts of catching up with an old friend. And suddenly, he asked me a strange question: do you(I) believe in serious relationships? Startled as I was, I forced myself to answer the profound query of an old friend.

 

Answer:

Yes, such as I believe that there is a God, there is life, and there is someone out there who would be my life, who is sent by God Himself.

 

The conversation went on, deeper, deeper, and deeper. I wasn’t expecting this kind of discussion, for I know this friend very, very well. Yes, for the first time – for the long years we’ve been friends – he made perfect sense.

To cut the story short – he was in a party last night, saw his 2 ex-lovers, who both made actions to win him back. This two past lovers committed unfaithfulness to him, but... he also has this knack of collecting and having lovers (yes, lovers...) all at the same time: a player. But on the contrary, he holds this principle: once an X, remains an X. So, he asked: did I(him) do the right thing, even though they’re both good-looking like me? Startled again, I forced myself to answer the profound query of an old friend.

 

Answer:

After our discussion, I felt awkward. Now really, there are still people like them? Poor life… but the hell! At least I’m not one of them! But I figured again – for the long years we’ve been friends – he’s still stupid.
