I'm such a huge fan of reality shows! Well, there are exceptions of course, but Project Runway is one of my favorites - seasons 1 to 4!
Now that we have our own franchise of the show, I'm really, really excited to watch it! Philippines' Next Top Model was a disappointment for me (Ruffa Guttierrez sucks!), so I'm expecting a lot from Teresa Herrera, Apples Aberin-Sahdwani, Jojie Lloren and Rajo Laurel.
CONFESSION: Actually, I planned to audition last January - some of my closest friends know this. But when I was that close to finalizing my thoughts, I realized these things:
1) I'm the type of person who's more active at night, especially in the wee hours (thanks to PLM). Call me nocturnal, but I do things excellently when the sun is down and darkness creeps the surroundings.
2) I know how to draw/sketch, and I have the eyes and hands for creativity. But, I don't know how to make a dress! For heaven's sake! Cross-stitch and pillow cases were the only sewing projects we had during grade school.
So, if I would sum up 1 and 2, and if ever I would pass the standards of Project Runway Philippines and become one of its finalists, then.. I'm pretty sure I would be the first one to be eliminated! Why?
1) Project Runway challenges has deadlines, and most of it are a 1-day process in which you should finish your creation by exactly 12:00 midnight. If that's the first challenge, what are my chances? LOL!
2) And, I don't know how to use a sewing machine! We actually have one here at home, but I wasn't taught - rather, I don't want to be taught. Hand sewing, which is actually not an expertise of mine, is not a very good weapon either for this show.
So yes, I did not audition. I have decided that I'd just feast my eyes on their creations when the show starts next Wednesday.
But if ever someone from that show reads this - I would be very willing to accept an offer of help, may it be on designing or constructing a piece. Really, I would be very glad. LOL!

Theres still room for improvement, :) I was surprised with the designers, they were good lol *some are*. They just need to work on the lighting and the audio.
I wish PRP would put up a site.
Ayaw ko rin nung audio, but the lighting for me is ok..
