I was stunned with the preview of this news earlier (and obviously, I can’t get over it because I blogged it here):
Electric supply might be in pre-paid cards as well some time soon!

What on Earth is that idea? I mean, is our economy really that low to do such moves? What happens now with Meralco’s over-costing of bills?
Honestly, I didn’t watch the news segment about this. I was so pissed! Can’t we think of any good way to solve today’s crisis?
I really don’t know if I’m reacting in a good way, for I have said that I didn’t watch the news – I don’t know what’s the whole information, when and why this was plotted, and whoever he/she was who thought this.
My point: there’s a lot going on in our country today that needs more attention than having pre-paid cards for electric bills.
I hope my reaction’s really in a good way..

at lahat kami dito sa office were very furious on the issue. grabeh!!!! eto na ang ang pre-paid generation. bad trip! sana hindi kasali ang kuryente. just think of exhausting the load on a midnight. DAMN!!!!!!! lahat sila mababaog!!!!!

The Philippines is the pioneer in "TINGI" marketing. I'm not surprised they came up with this so-called "solution". BUT this doesn't make them right either, even if this has become a culture in our country.
As a matter of fact nga, people tend to spend even more, unreasonably, in re-packaged stuff. And we all know why.
On the other hand, we haven't heard the full details of this propostion. Maybe we should wait for them to explain before we judge it.

well, ERC just proposed this plan in order for the consumer to avoid the electrcity overcharging, mentioning the 700 billion sytem loss charges. But NASECORE, opposes on this, because people might get an interuption when their prepaid electricity card got a zero balanced.
ang in fact, this proposal from ERC was already passed on their provisions just before the end of the term of ERC Chair Rodolfo Albano
