The performance is not at par with Carrie's. I haven't watched the whole episode for country week, pero this performance is so-so. I think.. IMHO. :)

This is the best of the night talaga for me..
Actually, I was about to give it to Danny (Jesus Take The Wheel), then Anoop did better (Always On My Mind) - but Matt was the one who really stood out..

I think Danny did good but I also think that he's kinda overrated.

Danny. Gokey. Overrated. Hehe... and to think I was once in love with that man! He's alright musically, not so perfect, fresh sounding lang pero parang may ere na tinatago... sense ko lang.
And si Matt love ko rin siya! Nung Hollywood week di masyado pero simula nung nag Viva la Vida siya nagustuhan ko siya although pumalya, I was sure he'd have another chance to do wildcard and go thru to the top 12.
Magkaiba tau Reg - for me I think Adam's the overrated one.
Though I won't deny that I sense something like that about Danny too, still, he's my bet to win.

Wala lang, I don't want Adam to win rin naman pero nakakatuwa lang siya kasi he's so off and so wrong for the show pero nakakatuwa panoorin... ang galing ng range niya kahit personally hindi ko trip yun timbre ng boses niya, masyadong dated 80's glamrock ang dating, di ko magets yun sinasabi ng judges na 'current' siya, kasi mga classics naman ang tunog niya saka masyadong theatrical pati pronunciation niya, sa itsura siguro uso, haha.
Baka kay underrated Matt na nga ako for the win (kahit di ko alam mga kinakanta niya ang galing parin niya)... nagsasawa na talaga ako kay Danny eh... nung una sobrang captivated ako pero ngayon parang iisa na lang ang style ng singing niya tas parang may ere na, na-turnoff na ako. Matt Giraud na to!!! hahaha...

I agree with you regarding Adam - my ear literally hurts when he's hitting those outrageously high notes, but that really is awesome!
Too theatrical pa rin sya for me, and yeah, current for his EMO look.
However, ayaw ko talaga sa kanya.

Matt's the underdog here I think (so is Allison).
I'm still for Danny though, can't wait for him to step out of his style and blow the judges away!

I thought Season 8 would be dull since last year's was really successful..
I guess the people behind AI knows how to pinch each other to come up with a better season after a very good one..
