Alert: BUMS on the loose…

I’m one of them.

 

Here and there, I hear, read, and see people talking about where and when us fresh graduates would be entering the so-called REAL WORLD. Admittedly, I myself is anxious to KNOW THE ANSWER for that question. But for heaven’s sake! LET’S CUT THE CRAP!

 

Don’t we deserve this rest?!

 

We have been under the spell of the Encyclopedias and Parker pens for the last 15 years of our lives. We have been feeding our stomachs with food to fill our body’s needed energy to cope up with the feeding of our brains with proper knowledge and know-how’s for 150 months. We have been battling among each other’s egos and intellects for the past 600 weeks. The previous days, hours, minutes, and seconds of our lives have been centered on growth through education.

 

Aren’t your hands tired?

Aren’t your mouths tired?

Aren’t your eyes tired?

Aren’t your ears tired?

Aren’t your brains tired?

And somehow… AREN’T YOU TIRED?

 

IN MY OPINION, the fact that we have been in school and doing it for OURSELVES for the past 15 years is ENOUGH to be a REASON why we should take a bit of a TIME OUT.

 

On that thought, I do not promise that I would have work in a matter of days, but rather, I PROMISE THAT I WOULD NOT BE A BUM FOR QUITE SOME TIME.

 

I’ll just savor the feeling and rest for a while…

 

Now tell me, DO WE DESERVE THE REST?!
