Never did I imagine that a simple story of a missing goat could branch out to other factors such as family ties, brotherhood, enthusiasm, bravery, and love.

Adolf Alix’s visual style is still visible in his latest offering – jaw-dropping sceneries with dramatic effect. As to his last year’s Donsol, Kadin also features the best views there is in Batanes, a must-see if you really liked the sceneries he featured in Donsol.

I love the scoring. Though some shots were rather slow-paced and very long, the musical score did its job.

I really did not like the opening though. One word: yuck!
