Britney Spears' CIRCUS Leaked!

Yes, I am not a huge fan of spoilers and sorts - but what can I do? I am already served with the freshest songs from Britney Spears, so why shouldn't I grab it?

Her upcoming 6th studio album, Circus, has apparently leaked on its entirety just a few days ago. When I say entirety, I mean the whole thing - even the deluxe version's bonus tracks from different countries!



I have been listening to the album the whole day, and I am really in glee that she's back on her thing! This, by far, has been her best yet; but of course, there were a couple of songs which I was like "what?!". I'm not going to review this album here, because I am still going to buy an original copy no matter what.

No, I won't be posting the links here for the free download.

So, why did I blog about this? Let's say I'm having guilty feelings of downloading it, but at the same time, I'm proud, happy, and mesmerized because of doing it! Sounds crazy? Well, I got you crazy! Circus is out on December 2, 2008.

My Friendster crap?

Since I wasn't able to do my online routines recently, I was really alarmed when I received series of GMs/reports from friends about Friendster's update. All of them were hate retorts, proclaiming that the networking site has slashed their number of friends and photos. At first I was like, "Oh OK, it's just Friendster.. Multiply's my online home anyways.."; I went to sleep without any remorse and sorts.

When I woke up in the morning, I realized: some old, long-lost friends, classmates, and even relatives away from me are on my Friendster. And that's my only mean of contacting them! By that thought, I was agitated.

Just this night, I tried logging in on my Friendster account. Unluckily, it was still site maintenance. But after a couple of minutes, I accessed it. The crap? None. My Friendster's all the same since my last visit. No friends were erased, nor photos. I must be really lucky this past few days. LOL!

ARIES LAGAT WINS PROJECT RUNWAY PHILIPPINES!!!

Who's IN?

Project Runway Philippines' finale was indeed successful - I was in awe!

I daresay the final 3 really did great on the surprise challenge: I'll definitely buy Philipp's cardigan, then Veejay's pants - but I'll buy Aries' whole ensemble! The tailored suit with matching glittery hood was phenomenal! I MUST HAVE SOMETHING LIKE THAT! LOL!

Philipp's collection showcased the richness of Philippines' culture and the boldness of a woman's body. However, I agree with the judges that some of the pieces were almost over-the-top. While Veejay's take on the classy, clean and wearable silhouette was successful, the lack of story behind the collection and, yes, wrong choice of fabrics, made the whole set a bit flat. But there's no denying that all the pieces were constructed elegantly. Aries' collection was really "wow"! The drama, the story, and of course the construction all fit together - and formed a fantastic ensemble! I agree with the last piece, the yellow gown, being off among the strong ones; but the main flavor was indeed showcased when that vintage-looking dress transformed into three unique, unbelievable garments! Aries deserves the title, period. I hope his collection's already displayed in SM Makati by tomorrow. Can't wait!

All in all, Project Runway Philippines was successful to produce the next generation of Philippine fashion designers - which are indeed bright!

She did it AGAIN: Britney Spears conquered MTV Europe Music Awards 2008!

Britney Spears' comeback is indeed a true success story. Aside from having her 2nd #1 Billboard single for Womanizer; a hot, highly-praised, highly-anticipated music video for Womanizer; grabbing 3 Moon Men at the recent VMAs; 2 MTV specials about her fans and herself; and an upcoming 6th studio album, the list has been added for the returning Pop Sensation. Britney has been nominated for Act of 2008 and Album of the Year for her album Blackout at the recently concluded MTV Europe Music Awards - and yet again, she bagged both awards. Though she wasn't physically present during the event, a video footage of her was shown to the audience: she thanked everyone for the support and told everyone that she's on the set of her new music video, Circus - 2nd single from her anticipated album with the same title due out on December 2, 2008 worldwide.

I stumbled upon this song by Busted entitled Britney. The song was actually recorded last 2002, but why aren't I aware of it? LOL! Anyways, so, I immediately looked for a music video, but unluckily, I saw none. PROJECT RUNWAY PHILIPPINES FINALE: UBER EXCITEMENT!!!

So ETC finally showed the part 1 of Project Runway Philippines' finale this night, and I must admit that I am indeed awed by this show! So freakin' awesome! This local franchise is no doubt the best so far.


Actually, a few days back, I have already seen the final 3's collection (thanks to one of my Multiply contacts for sharing his love for photography; and the numerous blogsites about the show). Upon seeing it, I already rooted for Veejay's. But since the twist earlier was to do a 13th garment, menswear, the top 3's wish during the reunion episode was granted. The 3 had the chance to work with one designer from their batch; Philipp with Lord, Veejay with Jaz, and Aries with Mara. Yes - MARA! Now I'm also excited to see Aries' collection!

Oh well, can't wait for next week's final runway show and results! And please..

I'm a VAMPIRE?!

What are vampires?

Well, according to Wikipedia, vampires are mythological or folkloric revenants who subsist by feeding on the blood of the living.

Ok, this is not a post-Halloween blog, to clarify things early. I was just shocked that there are really vampires! Yup, you've read it right - THERE ARE VAMPIRES. Thanks to The Tyra Show (which I'm actually fond of watching, thanks to ETC SBN 21), my beliefs with the supernatural thingy has escalated once more.

During their Halloween episode (Oct. 31, 2008), Banks interviewed not 1 but 4 living vampires. One of them was actually featured before in a National Geographic documentary(?) about their kind; while one was featured on a reality show(?). Unfortunately though, I can't find videos yet regarding the said episode, but I have a pic here which you'll see Tyra talking to the Vampire Emperor (thanks to thetyrashow.com for the pic; sorry, I forgot the Emperor's name!):


There were actually two things discussed on the episode which captured my senses. First, they have classifications: Blood Vampires (feeds mainly on blood), Psychic Vampires (feeds on psy energies), and Hybrid Vampires (both Blood and Psychic). Second, on how to determine whether you yourself is a born vampire. Well, they have cited qualities, and there's one which actually struck me: you are a vampire if you tend to/more often sleep during daytime. The hell! I'm like that! But if ever I'd be a vampire, I'll probably be a Psy Vampire. It's cool, yet it's not disgusting. LOL!

I'm now more excited on the showing of Twilight - eventhough I don't have any idea about it.
